Gele is a traditional head wrap or tie worn by women in West Africa. It emanated from the Yoruba
culture, and its origin is hard to trace, it is a symbol of cultural continuity, unity, identity; pride, and strength female adults, and even children wear the Gele as a sign of elegance and maturity.
