Red Lantern 🏮
Beer, Tomato, Marinade, Cured Yolk.
A couple years ago @andrew_ie.goober and I would drink the occasional Red Eye on a dusty day. Cocktail’s (1988) Brian Flanagan had been doings this for decades at this point, but it came back to mind when Millie started curing egg yolks to eat with rice for breakfast.
A curing mix of soys, mirin and Vegemite, tomato juice, topped with ice cold lager and garnished with a cured yolk. You can eat it straight, drop and mix or alternatively spread on toast.
A little Michelada à la Rocky Balboa. 🥊
