DPR Gallery is proud to open its doors with Rebirth, an immersive new exhibition by internationally celebrated artist Peregrine Honig. Known for her evocative explorations of identity, femininity, and cultural memory, Honig brings a powerful body of work that reflects on transformation, renewal, and the collective spirit of reinvention.
Rebirth marks both the artist’s Lake Charles debut and the inaugural show in DPR Gallery’s newly renovated downtown space.
The show opens to the public on Thursday, October 9, and will run through the end of the year.

Brett Labauve aka Bouffant Bouffant
Bouffant Bouffant is a DJ, Producer, and party starter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He cut his teeth in local sex clubs, warehouses, and dive bars but has become a major player on the bubbling American Queer Underground nightlife circuit as well as International jaunts to play for the likes of Cocktail d’Amore, Buttons Berlin and Savage Hanoi. His monthly party Gimme A Reason has been fostering space for queer nightlife in New Orleans for over 9 years.
Brett also has an accomplished graphic design practice with a focus on poster design and branding that was originally birthed from creating promotional material and d t-shirt graphics for his early party endeavors.
