Four faculty members will take on a series of absurd and creative challenges, all judged by the Taskmaster, Lynn Reynolds. These tasks will be screened and judged live in front of an audience, creating a fun and unpredictable experience.
It was designed to be a fun time where students can watch their professors’ wit, logic, and creativity be put to the test just before finals.
Support the Student Art Association and vote YES on your SGA ballot! Your support goes a long way and we thank you! Link to voting is down below!

Wendy Rodrigue, artist, author, and Executive Director of the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts, brings a personal and cultural perspective to the Rodrigue: A Louisiana Cowboy exhibit. As the wife of George Rodrigue, she shares insight into his life, his work, and the Louisiana culture that shaped it, while continuing that legacy through her own work as an acclaimed artist.
Joined in on this museum tour with the McNeese State University Student Art Association at Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center. I always love walking down memory lane in this building where my grandmother, Betty Laurent, worked for 40 years as a court clerk. It is a source of great pride for me as a resident and artist to experience this space and this exhibit in such a meaningful way.
Visit Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center, open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., to see the exhibit in person. If you want to hear Wendy speak again, the Aiole Jolie Candlelight Concert this Saturday includes music by the Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra string trio in an intimate setting surrounded by the art of George Rodrigue.
