Fragrances I Love: April 2026
A personal series exploring fragrance and memory through scent.
Matiere Premiere, Falcon Leather
@Matierepremiereparfums
Leather on leather. Burning rubber on a hot summer night. Falcon Leather is bold, dark, and slightly addictive, the kind of scent that quietly fills a room as you arrive. My favourite detail is the Finnish birch tar, a small but meaningful note that feels like carrying a piece of home with me.
Le Labo, Violette
@Lelabofragrances
One of the newer additions to Le Labo, Violette surprised me. I expected something purely floral, but there is a soft, almost incense-like depth that gives it a moodier edge. It Is quiet, powdery, and skin like, a contrast to what I usually reach for, but something I have really enjoyed recently.
Byredo, Mumbai Noise
@Officialbyredo
A rich scent built on contrast. Byredo’s Mumbai Noise blends smoky woods, bitter coffee, and warm resins into something atmospheric. There is a certain warmth to it, almost like heat rising from wood and spice. One of my favourites from Byredo, especially when I want something deeper that still feels effortless.
