Mike Munson Trio The Trio’s highly anticipated debut release “Sometimes, not always” marks a pivot for Munson. The group’s sound joyfully traverses the melancholic corners of American music much like Edward Hopper did with a paintbrush on canvas. Munson is joined by Nick Salisbury on bass and Lars-Erik Larson on drums, pairing stunning guitar sounds with sparse arrangements for a quieter, more introspective feel. “When I got my hands on the instrumental “Night Flying Birds” it hit a sweet spot that reminded me of the sounds of Bill Frisell, Magic Sam’s instrumental work and a heaping tablespoon of Jeff Parker. ” - Sean McPherson, former Music Director at Jazz88

Please join us at Two Fathoms Brewing on Sunday, February, 22nd from 2-5pm for a very important fundraising event with proceeds going to the Winona Sheltering Network. This organization provides much needed assistance to families in the Winona community who are impacted by current federal enforcement operations. Your support for this event will also enable the Winona Know Your Rights Team to purchase needed supplies and continue to provide direct support for refugee and immigrant families.
The event is a benefit show and silent auction. Enjoy live music from Ironstill, Mike Munson & Sheep for Wheat while you connect with other community members, learn about ways to get involved locally and support your neighbors. The silent auction will have a huge array of donated art, gifts & services. Bid on your favorite to take home at the end of the event.
Two Fathoms is a family friendly establishment, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, pizzas & snacks. 10% of sales during the event will also go to the Winona Sheltering Network. This event is free and open to the public.
Community Not Cages is also working in coalition with us to coordinate a mutual aid drive for the event, collecting food and household supplies for our affected neighbors More details on this supply drive to come!
This event is a collaboration between Two Fathoms, Winona Constitutional Observers, Winona Community Resource Network, and Community Not Cages. We hope to see you there!
