Marathon Sunday: you can likely still get to the shop coming from State St/Washington St, traveling north on Graham. In relation to Shift, closures (yellows) will be Lake St bridge, all of Barstow near us and the Graham Ave neighborhood north of Lake all the way to Pablo.

Want to make a collage with us? @eaushift will be hosting the first World Collage Day 2026 meet-up event in Eau Claire, WI! On Saturday, May 9th, at 1pm, join @robottraveler and @kalnshelf for a community collage-making afternoon. All supplies provided, all ages welcome! There will also be an opportunity to participate in a collaborative group collage which will be sewn together ON SITE by @kalnshelf ! (Examples of Kal’s sewing process are shown on the last three slides of this post.) Please join us! The past year has necessitated $21,000 in spending that is too great a financial burden for our small business to bear. It’s hard to ask for help. It brings up a lot of ugly feelings about worth, failure, loneliness. But we want to be here. We have flexed so.many.times over the past 8 years: new business, pandemic, post-pandemic, new competing businesses, neighborhood burdens, change of business model.  You have always been loyal, showing up with mutual aid donations, enjoying political parties, artist receptions, group rides & more. Your true loyalty is that you show up every day and enjoy each other’s company. Through all the atrocities, you find each other in our space and it means so much - that you make that choice with your time, your friendship, and your spending. That carries us forward.  Thank YOU to all that have donated. You are supporting a community space that we all want to share in. Thank you to those considering donating to our fundraiser.
