The first BTS stills from Rochefort Creative’s debut short film ‘Hang Me, Oh Hang Me’.
Inspired by Dave Van Ronk’s haunting rendition of the folk song ‘Hang Me, Oh Hang Me’, the film is set in early 1900s America and follows a vagrant and a runaway on the trail of a man from the dying days of the old west.
We were lucky to shoot in the Snowy Mountains/Monaro region of NSW — a stunning, rugged backdrop that gave us incredible weather and atmosphere.
More importantly, we were surrounded by an exceptional crew who came together to make something truly special.
Shot on a rare
@kodak_shootfilm Super 16mm anamorphic format, the film captures the textured, widescreen feel of 1960s Techniscope westerns.
