A good time was had and I got to meet and mingle with my fellows in sound nominations and be celebrated by some delicious contemporaries and cheer on some friends as well. Big congrats to the wonderful @fiona_donovan_apdg for her beautiful work on @thecorrespondent.movie and thanks for letting me hold yours glossy new well-deserved #AACTA At one point the dancefloor was all my favourites. A few snaps from the wrap- I feel it’s worth noting that local powerhouse and cinematic enigma @joyhouseproductions has just wrapped her sixth feature, Her Last Laugh. I’ve been doing the recording and post audio on most of Joy’s films for years now and have been able to grow with them, Joy gave me my first feature credit and has given opportunities to so many upcoming talents. This film I got to train up new boom gun for hire Sammy (also a killer on the mic) watch @lennyboisterous kill it as a one man AD machine and laugh at @lyanna_kea amongst other antics in a frantic nine day shoot. This little universe continues to unfold in the most delightful ways, and to be in the orbit…indescribable.

That’s a joke but honestly it is really nice to be mentioned as the process of sound goes through many stages and I am but a cog, still I’m really pleased. They’re both a good watch if you’re looking for a little entertainment. Props to those who helped me record the things- Kate, Dylan Mitchell Frost and Raf- without them I’d be lost and would have to yell at background extras myself.
Me and my fellow K(atinka) Pop Demons SLAYED on our last day on set today. It’s been a revolving door a times as we cycled through some of life’s inevitabilities but I couldn’t be prouder of how we got it done. Keep an eye out for Caper Crew next year and until then it’s see you next time to @miss_opaque77@dylsgram@villainsound@kyle_shultz and Sammy who helped me get it over the line. Phew.
