Not on here that often these days, but I was greeted to a number of Birthday wishes from a few days ago. Thank you so much ā¤ļøI spent the day walking the dog, seeing some friends and managed to fit in a pint too. JƤgerbombs and shots of sambuca are a thing of the distant past now!!!

We love this dramatic, bug inspired theme,
Bug Concerto in G minor.
Also the dogs at the end š

Happy Birthday Honey - Youāve come such a long way from refusing to walk to now giving up after only 20 mins. Congratulations on being the worldās laziest dog!
*Long post alert, please feel free to skip*
I was in two minds taking/posting this picture as it is the view from a bunkhouse in Auchwitz that I visited earlier today.
I am sorry if posting this upsets anyone or makes anyone feel uncomfortable.
However, I do have a connection to the Second World War as my grandfather was held in a concentration camp (two actually - Dachau and Mauthausen).
I canāt really describe what it felt like to be sharing the exact same view of what a child/parent/husband/wife/anyone in this position might have seen 80 years ago - Of course, in very different circumstances.
I do feel immensly grateful and lucky to be here today though. But sadly, it feels that the message of āthis can never happen againā just seems to be lost right now given all the conflict/war (albeit different circumstances).
Hereās hope that things do get better though ā¤ļø.
