My mom’s younger brother is a true music buff and vinyls collector (as he always says, if you’re going to spend money, do it on something that has value, soul, and gives you goosebumps).
Thanks to him, I discovered The Beatles. I was still a kid when I learned all the lyrics - which, I’ll admit, was pretty unusual for my generation.
“You need to know the classics before you ruin your musical taste with BS,” he told me - I remember that clearly.
Today’s visit to the @agotoronto , and the beautiful Paul McCartney: Eyes of the Storm exhibition, brought all those memories back.

I started this year with a focus on my mind.
I really believe there’s no good or bad way to live your life - no perfect way to make choices or set goals.

Creation doesn’t usually happen for me in one perfect, cinematic moment.
It starts with a feeling I want to translate: a texture, a scent, a small moment of care I want someone else to experience. Then comes the real work: adjusting ratios, testing firmness, blending oils, watching how it melts on the skin. I make a batch, tweak it, remake it. Sometimes twice. Sometimes five times.
That quiet movement from intention to outcome, that’s my process.
