2yrs and 3 months ago I was in my closet crying and having a panic attack. We signed the lease to Marda Loop. “What the hell was I thinking? Who the hell did I think I was? We could loose everything!” That and every possible horrible thought was racing through my heart and mind at the same time. I cried so hard I actually wore myself out and was exhausted. As I sat on the floor in silence in my head I heard, “you’ve been here before. You’ve actually been here many times. Every tough decision you have made for Laura Brows to grow, you’ve been here before. Not at this scale and this level, but that’s why you are here now. You’ve grown, and you are ready. You are doing this because what if the best works out.” Lean into the assumption that it will actually be better than you could have dreamed along side the fear. I wasn’t ready for Marda Loop 7yrs ago so the opportunity didn’t present itself then, but as we grow we are given opportunities and what’s more scarier than opportunity and uncomfortable growth is not seeing those opportunities and completely missing them, or suppressing them. 2yrs ago now we opened Marda Loop and I’m so thankful I got off the floor in my closet.

Where do I get inspiration for creating content?
One of the biggest influences and inspirations is from music.
I listen to all different types of music. A big influence on me is Motown, oldies, funk, hip-hop, electronic, punk, and everything else that makes you move or feel.
This is an exercise for me to get more comfortable in front of the camera and not overthinking what I record and have to do take after take after take. This video was the second take as the first one was four minutes long cause I rambled on and on.
As a content creator, I wanna share my journey and create more content that connects with people. So far it’s been about a week or two I look forward to what’s to come.
