2025 will make 9 years in business. When I first moved to Calgary I was told no dozens of times when I applied to every salon in Calgary. No one got it. They all said I needed to also do facials, full body wax etc and clients wouldnât come. They didnât see the value in mastering one thing. I wasnât interested in being mediocre in lots of things, I would rather be an expert in one, and thatâs what I was and I loved what I did. Iâm so grateful they were wrong. Iâm so grateful to be a teacher and mentor to our Artist and to pass down my experience and knowledge. For my staff and our clients to see the possibilities of knowing your strengths and potential when everyone else doesnât value them. That we are not boxes to fit into, that breaking the mold and staying true to who you are is the path worth pursuing. đ

I finally understand how to get a softer, more natural brow without using way too much product thanks to the queen of brows @laurabrows . We can all agree my brows look more lifted and natural and itâs safe to say Iâm never going back.

Enhancing your natural shape with a minimal approach will always create the most stunning, beautiful brows, ones that truly fit you as an individual. What looks stunning on her doesnât mean it will look stunning on you, and vice versa.
đThe same principles apply to every brow. Itâs all about learning how to create balance. That balance comes from understanding exactly where to apply your pencil so the top and bottom lines of your brow stay parallel, only tapering from the arch to the tail.
For most people, this technique is especially helpful if youâve over-waxed or over-tweezed your brows. If your brows are more natural and untouched, theyâre likely already fairly balanced and need less pencil.
Ultimately, itâs about learning your own brows and applying product with intention. With proper backcombing and a good setting gel, you can enhance whatâs already there without overdoing it.
