2025 has been a year of growth and refinement. There have been some impossibly tough and frustrating moments along the way, but this week—turning the corner into the holidays—something feels right. Could be finally catching up on production, could be finally having enough crew, enough tools, dialed subs, etc. It’s no doubt all of the above, but it’s also a team that’s gone through this year together and is finally coming out on the other side.
With our 23rd team member joining next week, a nearly completed shop reno, and wrapping up some doozy projects, we’re bright-eyed going into the holidays with some more marquee jobs on the books. 2026 will be a year of settling into this new size and the endless pursuit of perfecting the art.
Pictured here are some moments from the summer at the shop—moments that capture the goodness in the mess. Monday morning meetings reminding us that we’re in it together and that we’ve come a long way. I’m grateful for a week like this, a corner turned. But I’m also grateful to go through the hard with this crew.
Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you to the team, the subs, the clients, designers, chefs, developers, restaurateurs, and this city for Mesa’s home and future.
Since buying this building in 2022, we’ve been dreaming of this day. After six months of renovation, the second floor of our shop is finally part of our production.
From new tooling and offices to an elevator you could drive a car onto, we’ve poured over every inch to make it as creative and functional as possible. It’s not 100% done—and maybe never will be—but it’s time to share it with the world.
Come join us for THE LEVEL UP PARTY!

So very grateful to the dozens of hands that helped bring this project to life. 🙏 Client Construction @stiltziron@carpinteroroca@haustileco@design_nashville
Just down from Brentwood’s favorite coffee shop, Crema, Karington Rowe is adding a bit of Nashville charm to the neighborhood. We came on board for another ground-up build, transforming this strip mall lease into a warm, elevated restaurant.
We defined the space with our custom die walls, clad in stained ash, and softened the entry with a curved feature wall. Overhead, a boxed-out ceiling in their signature blue helps you forget there’s a Burlington Coat Factory out front.
The real centerpiece is the curved bar—finished with a warm wood armrest, a stone top, and nestled under a mirrored soffit and LED, brass, glass and bent laminated back bar.
A white box turned signature spot—this project was a win for Mesa and another solid collaboration for the Dowdle/Powell team.

We’re longtime fans of Two Hands, so getting to build their second Tennessee location was a real win.
Set inside the historic Factory at Franklin, their design brings a fresh, open, and airy feel to the building’s rustic character. We brought it to life with clear coated ash, playful upholstery, and clean, simple detailing. Sunlight floods the space, making it feel like a hidden gem tucked inside an old landmark.
A thoughtful build, and one we’re proud to be part of.
Let’s run it back people! Level Up!
It’s time to party again - We will share progress on our second level shop reno. We will share new friends’ art and furniture. We will share a drink, a bite, some dancin’ in the moonlight.

Good Design Show 1+1
Maggie Sanger and Jon Dalman from Mesa collaborated to create a piece for the Good Design Show.
Last year the prompt was to work with someone from another discipline. Maggie and Mesa have worked on several commercial projects together and have been scheming on a collab piece for years.
We created a piece that can arranged in many forms. It’s playful but elevated and meant to be arranged and observed.

Revance, a locally headquartered biotech company, sought to create a space for hosting customers and company retreats.
Partnering with Turner for the buildout of their third-floor space, they hired Crowell Interiors for the interior design.
Mesa was brought in by designer @hannahcrowell to craft intricate millwork for the top floor of this upper Broadway building. We built the bar from the ground up, including the die wall, tile, casework, stone, brass trim, and walnut cladding, along with reeded glass and brass hanging shelves.
Additionally, we created floor-to-ceiling walnut cases and a brick-inlaid firebox with a custom mantel. The project was completed with FF&E elements, including four large stone tables and custom banquette couches, delivering a highly detailed and refined space.
New old project finally up on the site! 🥗
After finding success with their flagship location, Radish was ready to expand and open their second space.
They turned to Mesa for a local, detail-oriented partner to bring their vision to life.
Collaborating with designer Dryden Studio and general contractor Carter Group, Mesa focused on understanding what worked—and what could be improved—at their original location.
Together, we crafted elements that reflect Radish’s modern aesthetic and functional needs, ensuring every detail was built to support their growing brand.
The result is a space that feels both cohesive and elevated, providing a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy.
Thank you to everyone who believed in the Party Prototype and made the trek to A-Town! It exceeded all our wildest dreams. I’m still coming down from the Club Mesa high. If you missed, we missed you more, and we’ll see you at the V2!
