Saudi Arabia has nearly 2,000 kilometres of coastline, yet historically, only a small part of it has produced the consistent swell needed to sustain a surf community organically. For decades, the geography itself kept the sport at the margins. Nevertheless, the Saudi Surfing Federation ensures that surfers have the means to carry the flag to global stages.
