This was back in June, but itâs ok because
@momentumbiennale is on until October . My first time in Norway, in Moss, walking around Jeløy island, has been pure bliss.
This Biennale is really a chance to listening to nature and just for once change perspective. Getting away from human scale disasters and using art to strengthen that universal root made of soil, sky and water.
I know it sounds privilege, coz it is, and a bit hippy (although the biennale really isnât) but the work of curators and artists really goes deep into our relationship with the Earth, technology and future.
My absolute favourite is n 6, by Jacob Kirkegaard, where sound recordings of a radioactive space from Chernobyl are combined with the natural sounds of the forest. It really stayed with me this sound of our horrors hunting nature, one drop at time, until we blow it all.
