ROADS / Spirit - @adon____26 Debut Runway
Collaborating with @bacchus.agency to bring this concept to life was a delight.
“ROADS / Spirit...was inspired by an excursion to one of the coldest inhabited regions on earth. In a stark warehouse space, decorated with floating transmission poles...” - Elliot Hoste, Dazed
The scenic elements were expertly crafted and rigged by our talented MDM Team. Planned, executed, installed and de-rigged within a tight and precise timeline.
Tower of Now - @saad_qureshi_studio
Having had the pleasure of working with Saad Qureshi on wonderful projects before, we were honoured to work on this amazing piece. Created and built collaboratively with Qureshi, and installed in Hall Ings, Bradford, this 15-metre sculpture pays tribute to the rich variety of cultures present in the city, the district and the nation in 2025.
“Tower of Now is inspired by memory and place, and how our sense of who we are can be shaped by the buildings we see around us. Incorporating architectural features from around the globe, it features Qureshi’s trademark intricate woodwork, but on a monumental scale – taller than three double-decker buses.” - Bradford 2025
Materials: Mixed media including wood, steel, fibreglass, resin and sand.
Commission for Bradford 2025 City of Culture.
20:50 - Richard Wilson
The latest iteration of Richard Wilson’s iconic oil installation 20:50 has been built in the top floor of the Saatchi Gallery. The exhibition is open to the public until the end of April.
“Filling the space with recycled engine oil, it creates a mirrored environment that both disorients and captivates.” - Saatchi Gallery
We worked with Richard Wilson on this, all the way through from designing the piece for the space, fabrication to final installation at the Saatchi. The first time we worked on this piece was many years ago, and we’re so excited to see it back in the Saatchi again.
Swipe to see 20:50 when we first installed it at the Saatchi in 2010.
Installed as part of THE LONG NOW: Saatchi Gallery at 40

Stranger Things - Christmas Trees
We loved collaborating on this exciting project from start to finish with @the_experience_agency_uk , creating and delivering two striking Christmas trees in some of the busiest train stations in London and Manchester.
Each tree was a fully bespoke build, starting with custom-designed metal armatures fabricated in-house. The structures were then hand dressed in fire-rated artificial foliage, split half green and half black to reflect the duality of the Stranger Things world.
The Stranger Things themed ornaments were created using bespoke CNC machined patterns, to produce PETG vacuum-formed pieces that decorated the trees. The trees even featured iconic elements from the show sets, including retro TVs, BMX bikes and skateboards. The Upside Down vines and ornaments were scenically treated to achieve a convincingly decayed, otherworldly Christmassy finish.

Stranger Things Christmas Trees - publicly displayed in Manchester Piccadilly Station and London Waterloo Station - special thanks to all the Station staff for their help and support during the install and de-rigs!

King Abdulaziz Centre For World Culture
Back in 2016 we fabricated a series of lifesize animals for the Natural History gallery within the @ithra museum - a centre of culture and education in Dahran, Saudi Arabia.
The gallery highlights the diverse landscape of the Arabian Peninsula, featuring a range of animals all fabricated in resin and finished with a variety of materials. The largest - an extinct aquatic reptile called a Mosasaur, believed to have existed over 66 million years ago.
The exhibition remains open as a key education centre.
To My Ships - Liberty London
Luxury personal care brand @tomyships launches their new range ‘Stand Up Bravely’ with a stunning, expansive installation in Liberty’s central atrium.
The two striking Pasticcio columns, fabricated by MDM, were created using custom metal frameworks finished in scenic plaster with intricate sculptural detailing. The largest of the two measures in at a collosal 13m, displaying the brand’s products across all 6 floors.
Head to @libertylondon until 25th May to see it for yourself.

‘1880 THAT’ - Wellcome Collection
Artists @chrisunkim and @thomasmadertm present their first major London exhibition ‘1880 THAT’, exploring sign language and the right to communicate, through a playful and thought-provoking collection of works.
MDM fabricated three elements of the exhibition: ‘NOT CROSS’ - a 13m long brick wall addressing the disconnect between words and body language, ‘Look Up My Nose’ - a bespoke nose shaped drum with an internal beating mechanism designed to release vibrations that visitors can feel, and a small replica of the nose drum for visually impaired visitors.
Head to @wellcomecollection for this free exhibition, open now until 16 November 2025.
