My outfit made entirely out of single used plastics created by the incredible @loveheylola this show taught me so much about having conversations and being open to learning and growing educating others about recycling thank you @jordanbparker for your education and voice that’s so resounding

Thank you for showing me the true meaning of love—for offering grace when I didn’t deserve it, and for showing up even when you didn’t have a role model to follow. You chose to break the cycle, rewrite the narrative, and pour your strength into building a better life for us, no matter the cost.
You are everything I aspire to be—as a woman and as a mother. Thank you for always being unapologetically yourself and for never changing to fit anyone else’s expectations.

As I sit here still in awe of what God has blessed me with. I still can’t believe I was in my second runway show AND during @thechicagofashionweek for @chicagofashionshowcase let alone! To be able to walk as a petite model with a Disability truly brings me to tears! I am continuously in awe of the amount of work that goes behind the scenes from the models, to the hair and makeup, to the setup and tear down! Without everyone and especially @mintedmediaproductions this wouldn’t be possible! So honored to be given a chance to work harder than I have, pushed into uncharted waters, and break stereotypes of the fashion industry as it continues to evolve into the beauty of diversity! Fashion is telling stories and I am so grateful to honor each designers tailor made stories through their pieces
