9 years in. A billion more to go. I'm blessed beyond measure and so grateful to have this amazing Man of God to be by my side, in my corner, going through life with me. We were deemed as a power couple and it's truly fitting. Not because of anything we did, but the one who brought us together. I met Kevin at my first ever Chicago runway show at the @worldfashionfest . I still remember him in the yellow suit jacket he wore that day. There was no way to miss him in the crowd. He found his way to me and we connected over photography, and he invited me to shoot my second ever runway show at the water tower that same year @fashionbarchicago . He was a constant encourager for all of my Runway and fashion photography shoots from that point on. Always looked out for me. Such a very genuine and kind person. This shoot was at the Union Station right after the @chicagofashionshowcase Runway show in October this year. He wanted to shoot in that section of Union Station because one of his favorite scenes in the movie "The Untouchables" was filmed right there. He wanted to feel like part of the history. I shot him in his usual Kevin Ross poses! LOL :-) But when he positioned his hands in prayer I knew there was something special. Not only did he put them in standard prayer mode but he also looked up towards heaven. He will be missed greatly.
