Chicago Fashion Week has come to a close and I can officially say I’m so proud of my city! For a long time we have seen some different ‘maneuvers’ when it came to ‘the Chicago Fashion’ scene in terms of dry gate keeping, inclusiveness and over all weirdery (just made that word up) Happy to feel like it’s come to an end and the city is finally moving forward in fashion. This year, everyone got an opportunity to shine at multiple levels and I love that for all of us. It finally felt like Fashion Week, Fashion Week ikyk🥹Enter Kammarra B @msfabric who in conjunction with the city of Chicago produced one of the most fashion forward presentations I have been part of in the city. No crazy chaos, no drama or jealousy or weirdo vibes. Just 4 Black high end couture designers displaying our latest collections, with elegant and eager models. The show was free to attend, free drinks, amazing vibes and incredible fashion all under the marble Tiffany dome in the historic Chicago Cultural Center! I had the best time!
