36 today and 3 years sober!
Another year living a cleaner life ā¦.. I say clean I still vape haha . Itās brought its challenges and I canāt sit here and say that I still donāt have the urge to drink .
Iāve got a lot of support around me and for that I am truly grateful .

Birthdays are now a huge achievement for me as it means Iāve completed one more year of sobriety .
Iām so happy with how much I have progressed with this - itās honestly been the best change I could have made for myself .
My years are becoming better and better as Iām improving as a person ā¦ but also becoming the true me .

8 weeks ago I started boot camp to compete in my first ever MMA fight .
The experience has been amazing - being part of a community and training with an amazing group of lads .
It also gave me purpose to train and push myself with my fitness .
Iāll be honest , cutting out the gear and drinking is allowing me to take these opportunities ā¦ and more importantly to show up .
I lost to the better man on the night - but , to have all my friends and family there was a really special moment .

There are no words that can describe the love and appreciation I have for my parents .
Iām extremely fortunate to have these individuals in my life - they have been so supportive through my darkest days .
Even with my drinking and drug use they were always there - providing me with constant love .
Having a strong relationship , with my family , has given me the foundations to develop and become who I am now .
Everyday Iām truly thankful for the help they have given me .
