where i enjoy an AF Beer my partner still enjoys a glass of wine.
Here’s how we make it work:
1. **Sober Dates:** From coffee meetups to scenic hikes, we’re exploring new ways to connect without the need for drinks.
2. **Getting to Know Each Other Again:** Sobriety has given us a fresh perspective on our relationship. We’re taking the time to rediscover each other’s quirks, passions, and dreams.
3. **Showing Support:** Whether it’s cheering on milestones or being there through challenges, we’re each other’s biggest supporters on this journey.
4. **Understanding Both Perspectives:** We acknowledge that sobriety is a choice, and respecting each other’s decisions fosters deeper understanding and empathy.
5. **Embracing Rediscovery:** Every date is an opportunity to learn something new about ourselves and each other, strengthening our bond along the way.
Navigating sober dating isn’t always easy, but with open communication, support, and a dash of creativity, we’re embracing this journey together.
This is your reminder to get out of self and into nature.
I have been quiet on here for the last week or so as i was taken away to the mountains for my birthday by @_rachaelcameron
I turned my phone off and had a lot of time to reflect on whats important to me.
If i'm being totally honest I had been posting on here consistently to "help others" but after some deep reflection i released i was posting for all the wrong reasons.
i was living out of self and out of pure ego - I wasn't focusing on my own recovery and leaving myself totally burnt out.
I'd find myself putting time locks on my phone only to overide them and turn them off.
I am an addict and sometimes that spills over into other parts of my life, not just drugs and alcohol.
Time away from everything including instagram has really helped me reevaluate where i should be spending most of my time.
for the foreseeable i will be taking a short break from the podcast, posting regularly and being a lot more intentional about what and when i post.
so if you've read this far and are experiencing the same thing - put your phone down and get outside.
I'll see you in abit.... Or maybe not...
Does anyone else relate to this ?
I think it’s crazy how many people are stuck in this cycle and how normalised doing coke is after a couple beers🤯

For anyone navigating sobriety, cutting back, or simply wanting healthier rituals, having interesting alternatives matters.
Especially with Christmas coming up, when sparkling water and Coke Zero start to make you question life’s meaning.
These aren’t alcohol replicas….they’re their own category:
⚡ Electrolytes for performance
🧠 Lion’s Mane / L-Theanine for focus
😌 Ashwagandha for calm
🦠 Probiotics / Prebiotics for gut health
In this episode, I’m joined by Maz — a sober, fully qualified therapist who opens up about her own journey and shares powerful insights into how therapy can support sobriety.
If you’ve ever wondered whether therapy could help you on your recovery path, this conversation is full of clarity, compassion, and real-life experience. Maz breaks down what therapy actually looks like, why it can be such a game-changer in sobriety, and how doing the inner work can unlock a whole new level of healing.
A must-listen for anyone sober, sober-curious, or ready to take the next step. 🎙️✨
