May has been busy at the u of m music school and we didn’t have a practice space for a while, but now the semester is over and we have a spot again, just in time for summer gigs :)) pls join us for the @bumpylabel showcase at eagles on May 28th, with a bunch of wonderful bumpy bands including our dear friend @aloneamusic <3 May and Alana are going to do some duo improv so pls come get mesmerized. Next gig after that will be June 10 at best venue on earth @new_world.mpls , and we so excited to be opening for anti-folk puppet spectacular @owwowmeow ! This event is everything that’s good about Minneapolis, and it’s really nice to experience a little of that right now.
Feeling so lucky to get to perform so frequently with my dear friend @moqui._ , their projections are such stunning video paintings. We are working together on something special coming down the line, keep an eye out ;)

I am not really performing other shows right now bc it feels too insane to do a gig while there’s a paramilitary occupation of our city. But @dronenotdrones at @thecedar is a precious Minneapolis cultural institution, a safe port in the storm for those who need it right now, and an opportunity to share in sonic healing and donate to Doctors Without Borders. We must take all the small chances for peace that we can risk.
