I've received incredible news! The National Danish Arts Foundation have awarded me a working grant of 80.000,- DKK (£9000) to support my work. I'm beyond grateful for this. Working in music, although many times a hard task, it can sometimes feel very self-indulgent. I sometimes ask myself: what difference do I make in the world, and is it even important to others? Playing my music live/going to film festivals/working with live musicians helps me connect the music to the experience it gives others, and shows me just what difference my work can make. Receiving this grant feels like a big pat on the back! And I'm incredibly grateful to live in a country that values its creative minds. Also, I'm super broke, so this really helps! Thank you @statenskunstfond

Only a week until a very special evening in Roskilde Cathedral! In collaboration with Epic Fest and Roskilde Cathedral, I've arranged classic power metal pieces to be played on the 400 year old organ. And this is not just any organ! - since the reformation in 1536, all danish kings - and almost all queens - have been buried at Roskilde Cathedral. It's actually the place in the world with the largest collection of royal tombs in one church! And now these pipes - that has played at most of these royal funerals - will play some heavenly power metal ballads 🔥 @epicfestdk Arrangements by yours truly / organ played by Asbjørn Dalbjerg Programme: 7:00 PM – Doors open 7:10 PM – Welcome & Introduction to the evening + reflection 7:30 PM – Power Metal Organ-Performance (45-50 Min.) 8:30 PM – Communion for those who wish to participate 8:50 PM – Musical Organ-performance 9:00 / 9:10 PM – The evening concludes with a prayer for those who wish to participate and a blessing from Daniella Anastasie Schilling. 10:00 PM – Doors close, thank you for joining us and have a fantastic Epic Fest here in Roskilde the next two days.
