Izhitsa is a typeface with a distinctly Slavic character. The kind you see on both taverns and funeral homes. It’s pretty deeply engraved in the brain of every Bulgarian.
We used it as a starting point and adjusted it to match what Albena felt like while shooting Samurai Schwert. A has-been Soviet resort, slowly crumbling, but still holding on to a version of luxury that never really existed.

“We had more people book a demo in the last two weeks than in the entire first quarter.”
I received this note from Archlet’s co-founder shortly after we launched the rebrand and new website. Hearing that the work is already delivering value was incredibly rewarding.
Archlet’s mission is to transform the way teams source. Building on our strategy, the identity is based on the concept of a bridge, carrying complex sourcing workflows forward from the enterprise to the outside world. The visuals lean heavily into their Swiss DNA, reflecting the company’s focus on polished simplicity and precision while remaining human and approachable.
This was a truly lovely collaboration, and a real pleasure to also team up with my buddy @harendrakapur on positioning and copy. ✨

This one feels really special to me, even though it didn’t make the final cut. Inspired by the cash register at a café in Turin, drawing the flourishes felt like a kind of meditation. Is “flourisher” a job? I’d apply. 😃

Added a sprinkle of motion to one of my favorites from the Martini Terrazza collaboration.

Summer, stripes, arches, and Aperitivo vibes 🍸✨ Had the pleasure of teaming up with @martini and @ogilvy to whip up a batch of stickers and graphics for their Terrazza summer events across Europe. Here’s a peek at the exploration, in no specific order.

From drawing with ketchup, cutting and pasting, and doodling the logo on a napkin – Yana’s identity started with play and pure experimentation. Here’s a tiny glimpse of the messy, playful process behind the visuals.

Come through for an evening of sonic exploration! 🎶👽
The result of a truly amazing collaboration. ✨
It all began a few months ago with an unexpected call from my ex-boss, @leilaelkayem . She did her best to explain this unique idea to me. “Imagine if a gorilla had a digital wallet and could pay for whatever it needed…”. My first thought? Capitalism has already done enough damage—do we really need to drag animals into it?
But then I read Jonathan Ledgard’s paper on Interspecies Money and saw the enormous potential. Tackling an immense problem with a truly, radically different approach. A bold new way to tackle one of the planet’s biggest problems, flipping the entire concept of nature conservation on its head. I was hooked. Even if it took me weeks to wrap my head around how the whole thing is actually supposed to work.
We kicked things off with workshops in Tomás Saraceno’s stunning Berlin studio, bringing the Tehanu team together from Rwanda and the UK. We dug into the DNA, the raison d’être of it all. We also tried to explain Tehanu’s essence without using any words. And we drew some ducks, just for the sake of it. 🦆
From there, we built out the strategy and designed a visual identity, doing our very best to capture that same essence. One adjective which guided some of our thinking was “Punk”. This identity needed to very clearly communicate that Tehanu is not just another nature conservation initiative (or just another tech company); it’s a radical, disruptive approach to supporting wildlife and the communities living on its borders.
I’m grateful to have played a part in Tehanu’s journey alongside such an inspiring team. 🙏
Some glimpses into the development of the Tehanu visual identity 👀
In the words of Jonathan Ledgard: “The greatest failure of the digital age is how far removed it is from nature.”
Tehanu takes a radical approach to helping other species. Rather than treating nature as a charity case, they aim to provide it with the tools it needs to pay for its own protection. During our foundational workshops, one word kept surfacing: Punk. A strong word for a company committed to planetary change, but it became a defining adjective for shaping Tehanu’s identity.
