Fond memories from the last several months coupled with an update about our Halloween eve show 10/30 at @process.pdx with @sage_introspekt . Introspekt was the first artist that Swung brought out to Portland and bringing her back with this banger lineup and @beyourselfpdx as well as @different_animal_pdx means a lot. Having already crossed huge milestones since her last visit, Introspekt is intentionally shaping the sound of tomorrow and has become a central force of international soundsystem culture. xBulletNymphx of @254scienceandresearch is on direct support after tearing up the recent DJ Earl party as well. Spend the Night and Swung PDX are collaborating to bring legacy artist El-B to Portland as part of his 30-Year tour. A legend and pioneer of garage, house, and dark 2-step swing, as well as a major influence on the genesis of dubstep, El-B helped shape and define modern dance music. He will be making his PDX debut next month at @process.pdx with mid-tempo specialist support on vinyl from Tanyn, LU. and Maxfield Kirk. Tickets on Resident Advisor are moving fast.
