This Sunday 22nd Feb I'll be back behind the bar @kingsarmspub 12-9pm while they have their staff party.
I worked at The kings 11 years ago, I honed my craft there and it remains one of my favourite pubs in London, so happy to see it thriving again in the last year.
Swing by for some amazing cask, keg and the hospitality of me & my girlfriend @madbeertravels

Its the first time my name's been in print in a national newspaper thanks to @petebrownbeer 's kind words in @thetimes today about @thekernelsparoad
Feels weird and couldn't have dreamt of it pulling my first pint on August 1st 2013.
As I consistently state however The Kernel Taprooms don't exist or function without @beckyclaireross my godlike co-manager and the amazing team we've built over the years, people make bars good, people make life great but somehow so many neglect this.
Link to the full article in my bio.
Cheers!
For people who've come from further afield
(no pun intended) and are missing the Sunday session of @thesehillsfest or just want a great time, Brighton is a short ride away so here's a list of great things to do there:
@eveningstarbrighton one of the best pubs in the UK, right by the station
@unbarredbrewery taproom hazy gurlz and great traditional styles too
@handbrewpub fun & creative brewpub home of hand brewery
@holeinthewall hidden gem, community focused micropub by the shore
@brick.brighton classy lager focused bar with side pour taps
@thegeesebrighton or @windmillbrighton for a Sunday roast, as always with a roast, go early
@urchinpub brewpub & shellfish bar a little further in hove but worth the trip
@the_well_brighton a lovely bottleshop if you want a few beers by the sea, small bar too
@meatbreadwine creative sandwiches & focus on English wine close to the station
@foodilicbrighton_wr not exclusively but a vege/vegan focused healthy restaurant, eaten there many times
Like yesterday shoved all of them in a Google map in my bio, there's so much I couldn't fit and couldn't tag but it's in the map Brighton is awesome, and as always, be kind to your bartender.
After the announcement that @thesehillsfest was unsafe to go ahead here's a list of pubs and places I like in Lewes, I'm sure they'll be extra busy today so even if you're frustrated at the state of things be patient with your bartender.
I've put a link to a Google map with these and more in my bio.
@symposium_wine_emporium for road sodas
@the_patch_beer_cafe for lunch and bevs
@gardenersarmslewes great little pub in town

@thebeaktaproom you got tickets for a reason, Beak make great beer but for me I love everyone who works there, wonderful people.
Also don't forget to go to the bridge and gaze lovingly at @harveysbrewery EST. 1790 , one of the most iconic British breweries and one of the few remaining Victorian tower breweries still standing.

Edit : if you must go to a fest there's a local CAMRA fest till 1900 (or no beer) at Lewes Town Hall today 15/06
Today from 2pm me and my great friend Tyler @tkiley1 will be behind the @thekernelarch7 bar for the first time, I've been looking forward to this for many years and it's gonna be a joyous Sunday for all who come down.
Y'all thought there wouldn't be any PANCAKE POWER this year because I was ramenning it up on Tuesday hell to the nah.
Pictured are the pancake production place

And an accidental valentines love heart pancake for all of you folks with romantic love in your lives 🧡
WE OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW
Justin visiting this week made me realise how much I missed him, worked at The Taproom together for quite a while and originally hired him while chatting when he was on a date with a friend of mine in the bar 😅
We became friends fast and can share our a dark, deranged, filthy and eccentric senses of humour with eachother without shame.
Man can drink and we drank for England, or for America, or for Philly, beer, cocktails, pubs, whisky, Yescal, The Robin, good times.
Being able to talk about owt, bad times and good, joys and minutae. Seeing your love for "mah jah" is awesome, especially at superbowl, made me melt and our tour de London graff & Hampstead trip 🧡
Pleasure to know you brother, hope Vermont is awesome, know we'll be friends for time.
😎 I need blades, lots of blades 😎
Barblade, bottle opener, churchkey appreciation post.
As breweries move more to cans then as long as I bartend I'll still open carry my barblade.
Different, weights, thicknesses, colours, designs, I love em, @sirencraftbrew are my unofficial sponsor and my official favourite ones tho, so much I wear them down to nothing and gift them to other great bartenders 🥰
Have a wonderful day 🧡
