It’s never been harder to get new projects going in the mush of 100,000 daily uploads (especially when 30% of that is AI).
I’ve been wanting to start a new project since the end of the first VANT album campaign but was convinced by industry people to keep the name, much to the detriment of my own mental health and creative output as well as putting me in a difficult nonsensical position with my collaborators and fanbase. I was forced to play out a reality I didn’t believe in or want and it’s the reason I haven’t put music out for five years.
Such is the industry’s obsession with numbers I even got asked to use VANT as a guest artist for Father Hell. I refused as it’s vitally important to me that this project is what it is. NEW!
Help me cut through the noise.

My first ever headline show as Father Hell is on sale now!
I’ll be playing the new @brewisdavid curated @quitequietsunderland night at @portindependent in my hometown of Sunderland on June 4th alongside @izzypricemusic & Doc Smith (@districtattorneyband ).
Also the @alicecostelloe gang rolls in to Paris tonight for her first ever European headline show @supersonicclub - it’s free entry if any one is about. I’ve also posted all of the dates she’s announced so far this year!

Pack #001
Hey.
I’ve just dropped my first “pack” of Polaroids via my new website fatherhell.com
These are one of a kind Polaroids taken by yours truly and each of them comes with a handwritten note about the photo.
I’ll be putting more packs out in the future and I’ll take an album on tour which you’ll be able to peruse at your own leisure at the merch desk each night.
I might even offer a portrait service if there is any interest in that kind of thing.
Anyway, this is just a silly idea which may or may not help pay for more film and tape and all of those monetary obstacles that often get in the way of creativity. I also just really like taking Polaroids.

Wrote my debut single ‘Let Go’ last Wednesday.
Recorded it live to tape with my friend and talented cello player @sophie.sayer on Friday.
Sent it to the wizard that is @cleancutkidmusic who put his analog magic on the mix and master on Sunday.
And today I delivered it to my label @nordicrecords who are putting it out on 21.4.26. - the eve of the @demob_happy tour ❤️
Hope this speedy turnaround makes up for 5 years of silence 🤣✌️
