21-year-old @jake_vaadeland from Cut Knife, Saskatchewan, has had an impressive year as a 2025 JUNO Award winner, and making history as the youngest artist to achieve ‘Road Gold’ Certification by selling 25,000 tickets in 12 months across Canada. Along with his band, The Sturgeon River Boys, Vaadeland embarked on a global tour, performing in the U.K., Spain, Denmark, the U.S., Germany, the Netherlands, and Canada, solidifying his status as a rising star in the music industry. Jake strives to write and play with a focus on storytelling and messages that his audience can relate to, all packaged in foot stomping, high energy performances.

The Main Event: The Alive (LA)
Hailing from the California coast, The Alive have been tearing up stages since 2018. Their sound sits at the heavy crossroads of Black Sabbath and Idles – a massive, high-energy wall of sound born between surf and skate sessions.
They’ve dominated main stages at Lollapalooza, Boardmasters, The Great Estate and BottleRock, and famously opened for the Foo Fighters. Beyond the music, they are a dedicated BYOBottle artist, working with Surfers Against Sewage and Save the Waves to protect the oceans they call home.

Providing the heartbeat for this explosive set is the incredible Shane Hawkins. Known for his massive sound and relentless power, Shane’s presence behind the kit makes this a “must-see” performance for any fan of heavy, authentic rock and roll.

XTC’s legendary drummer, Terry Chambers, is back on the road with his band EXTC (named and approved by XTC frontman, Andy Partridge).
Emerging out of the post-punk and new-wave explosion of the late 70s, XTC experienced global success touring with the likes of The Police and Talking Heads. Sadly, their legions of loyal fans would be left in limbo when in 1982 XTC stopped touring, becoming a studio-based entity.
EXTC were formed in 2019 by XTC’s drummer Terry Chambers, performing classic XTC material such as Making Plans For Nigel, Senses Working Overtime, Mayor of Simpleton, Generals and Majors, Sgt. Rock (Is Going To Help Me), Love on a Farmboy’s Wages and many more.
