Last night I had the privilege of seeing @bobtrevinolikesit at the @unitedtalent theater. The film was fantastic with an all star cast including @barbieferreira@johnleguizamo and @french_stewart . While the film was great it was also an opportunity for me to reconnect with the film’s director @tracielaymonfilms who taught me at a filmmaking summer camp with @eu_summercamps at Stanford in 2012. I’m so proud that she is moving up in the film world and have no doubt that she will continue to make great movies!
I had the pleasure of spending the weekend with the Urry family who I have known since I was in 4th grade, in Provo at the BYU vs WVU game. It was a great experience, missed you @_granturry
Here is a fun story, when I was 5 years old, I had my birthday at Fire Station 1 in Escondido. The youngest firefighter at the time, Ryan Vierra he had just finished his probationary period. Today he is a captain in the department and tonight I got to see him for the first time in over 20 years. @escondidofirefighters
Thank you to everyone who has reached out wishing me a happy birthday and checking on my recovery. I am recovering nicely and will be back to my old self soon.

I have officially been discharged from Palomar Medical Center Escondido and will be resting at home with my family until I start my physical therapy in two weeks. Thank you to everyone who has sent kind messages they were a welcome distraction between tests and all the other surgical work and definitely made me feel very special.

Over the weekend while jumping into a swimming pool, I hyperextended my neck and herniated the disc between my C5 and C6 vertebrae. I had a total disc replacement and I’m currently recovering at Palomar Medical Center Escondido. I want to think the incredible ICU trauma care team at @palomarhealth as well as the @kaiserpermanente San Marcos ER team who first took me. I hope to be back on my feet soon. #fighton
