One of the biggest shocks of the last 2 years has been getting to play the Arena at @fortressmelb for not just one, but three absolutely packed events in the space of a few months!
Each time I get to play for these crowds, in these packed out spaces - Fortress, @cosraves , @glitchnightclub - among others - I always take a moment to just be so incredibly grateful for the opportunity, and for the crowds for trusting me to curate their night.
I've met some incredible people since starting this adventure in earnest after @yourshotau , been privileged to launch my own music on the label @melodieszone (more coming!) and even had such amazing artists as @theologyvgm drop my tunes on stream!
While the new banner reflects the bigger moments, it's the people that matter the most - whether it's an intimate set in a bar, a production of my show, or a fully packed arena space - come say hi! I won't bite, and I love to meet everyone ❤️

It hasn't all been fun and games, taking up music has meant long days and nights away from my family, family who support the hell out of what I do - and I'm grateful for them!
@violetbombshell has been my constant companion, supporter and business partner in getting @thebookofdivergence going, my little multiple path musical adventure - we are often talking about crowd choice mechanics and working on lighting or artefact design.
This passion project is entering a new phase of development, and taking it to conventions like @thegameexpo is an entirely new challenge!

Since I can remember, I've been obsessed with gaming music and the demoscene.
From acapella, whistling and trying to reproduce melodies on the family piano, the idea of fusing gaming music and a dancefloor has been close to my heart for a long time!
I count myself incredibly fortunate to have found myself on stage at locations like @glitchnightclub alongside such amazing nerds as @rosieroulette , preparing interval sets between performers at Chiptune events, opening for @extralivesmusic with a talk on video game music, and even playing at Syntax Demoparty!
Whether it's a curated vibe to bridge live shows, a spoken word introducing an event, or a floor warming slow burn to introduce the night in the right note, I'm finding love and joy in so many spaces in our world now.
45/55 - the second @moikeymusic track I dropped on the night, another megalovania cross (the megalo is more subtle in this one but I love it)
As I say in the vid, I consider a big part of my role as a DJ to be bringing new music and deep cuts to the floor, and doing it in a way that you're dancing to something you don't know yet - making memories out of melodies as it were 😁

44/55 Though it might not seem like much, this was the most technically fiddly transition of the night! Getting from Waking Up at 174 to His World at 200 without it being too jarring took a little forethought.
And for those that don't like the zebrahead version, bite me, it was one of the most requested songs 😈

Where hour 1 was defined by slightly chaotic mixing and rapid genre changes, hour 2 was defined by smooth mixing and flow, hour 3 is defined by big epic moments and huge heavy tracks.
Hour 3 feels like big waves cresting and crashing - surfing the vibe as it comes up and holding that peak - very intentional to let each big moment shine!

Holding onto this secret before the Rave was a hell of a thing, all I could tell the @cosraves folks was "something special is happening at 10pm" which - hell, at my sets could mean just about anything 🤣
Still pinching myself that this was how we got to find out ❤️
Throwing the @magfest performance version of Live and Learn down (kindly provided by C40!) meant we got the most current performance of this legendary song possible too 😁

This was one of the 200bpm songs I really had to plan to get to in a way that meant we'd hit it running and feeling good - so much prep went into this to make sure the vibe would be right for these big songs!
Call it love, call it autism, call it what you want - this made it all worthwhile 😁
