The Violet Bombshell

Hello! I've been planning on doing an introduction post for weeks now. Thinking it needs to be perfect and cover everything I want it to. Waiting until I kniw what want to do with this space and by extension my life. But if I do that I'm never going to get any content up at all. So here's me with my partner in the craziness of life @mattfrequencies and our trio of chaos agents. Then there's Jean-luc (5.5yr), William (3yr) and Lilly (almost 8mths/7 corrected). I have no idea what this space is going to be used for. Probably a mish mash of family life and a look into what it's like for a bunch of AuDHD hypermobile zebra's* with a bunch of not so fun comorbidities. Throw in some education/advocacy and maybe some of my hobbies (currently colouring in and hopefully picking up my photography again soon). You'll just have to stay tuned and see what happens. * Zebra's referring to people with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos/Hypermobile Spectrum Disorders. Myself and @mattfrequencies have been formay diagnosed, the boys have early signs and are having early intervention. Little Miss has no signs of hypermobility yet but it's still early.

After years agonising over my first tattoo today I decided on the spot to get this beauty done in Edinburgh to commemorate this once in a lifetime trip. Thanks to Hurricane Dana Tattoos (/hurricanedanatattoos) for an amazing first experience.

Friday of @paxaus over and done, we tapped out early in the afternoon to save energy for my show tomorrow in the Together Theatre but damn we had a blast while there!! Thank you to the amazing @violetbombshell for being my rock and sanity checker during the buildup to this, we finally got another day out without the kids 😅 To everyone I got to see, thank you so much and can't wait to see you again tomorrow!!

@thebookofdivergence at @paxaus was incredible! We've been working on this interactive adventure rave for just over a year, and to get to play it out in the Together Theatre upstairs and get such a crowd in the door was amazing, we couldn't have asked for a better reception! From the curious "what's this all about then" to the die hard "oh yes get me in there I want to RAVE!", it was a spectrum of people of all interests, sharing a common language - the music. With Season 2 underway and our first special edition show playing at @glitchnightclub tomorrow night (a Halloweeb spooktacular), we can't wait to see what next year brings! Have you ever watched The Little Mermaid and heard "part of that world"? The song she sings while looking wistfully at her whatsits? That was basically me the first time I heard about PAX in the US. When I was living in Adelaide in a very, very bad situation, and had no way out, I'd often watch con videos and demoparty livestreams. These places are my home in a way I can't even describe. @violetbombshell saw it first hand when I burst out into sobbing tears when we walked in, just the sheer weight of belonging. @paxaus - among others, is where I can be surrounded by people I know understand. You are the people I wrote the @thebookofdivergence for, you are the reason I play it and who I want to see at the shows. So being accepted into the Lounge to share it with you directly is an HONOUR. I can't wait to see you tomorrow ❤️

Help! Who am I? I'm currently wandering around the local shopping centre without kids for the first time in forever. The oldest chaos agent is with his Dad so I can even breath and release the masses of anxiety I carry when he's out of the house without one of us. Now for the problem... I have no ducking idea who I am without the kids or who I am post AuDHD discovery. Clothing style? Nfi I have looked in a few clothing stores and I have no idea what my style is away from leggings and breast feeding accessible tops. My texture/fabric issues are more extensive than ever as well (fu burnout) Hobbies? Ummm Too burnt out to touch either of the last 3 things I tried to pick up last year.
