Very excited to share my next composition ‘Estranged’ featuring @mattcliffe on tenor saxophone. Matt is a beautiful improviser, I can’t wait to share his solo with you. You can also hear his talents alongside Leeds heavyweights @ancientinfinityorchestra and @muquintet as well as in his own project. He will also be joining us for our Manchester show at @bandonthewall May 27th.

This is the first time I’ve written a tune for 2 tenors, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and the combo of Matt and @benpowlingmusic has created something I think is very special. I’m looking forward to writing more in this context. The usual suspects in the rhythm section, @ownmtchlbrns on bass and @theo.goss on drums.

Hey Guys, some of you might not know I am also an experienced instrumental teacher. I have availability to take on new students at the moment if anyone is looking to up their game or just try out something new!
This Thursday me and the band are playing @cobaltstudios.ouseburn in Newcastle. Playing all my tunes and mostly new stuff, @the.exu are playing also which will be great, gonna be fresh for sure.
Enos by Mu Quintet is out now! Really proud of this record, the boys have written some beautiful tunes and was a pleasure to work with string quartet @vulvavoce . Album is available to buy on Vinyl or CD from bandcamp xx

Last night was such a beautiful way to finish up this chapter but do not stress there will be so much more from Footprints coming. We’re going to be working closely with @factoryfloorbar in the coming months as well as @foundrysheffield and a few other spaces. @sidneyandmatilda has provided a great home for Footprints and some incredible memories. I’ll continue to post some of these on the socials as they really did capture the birth of some special moments on the dancefloor.
Next month @snazzback / @fuji.speedway / @spoken_abstract are playing at @sidneyandmatilda for an in-house event in the Gallery. Would strongly recommend getting down to this.
Then next up Footprints Jazz Festival on Feb 8th which is starting to sell pretty quickly (already into third tier)

Had a blast with @the.sorcerers.band in Denmark a couple or week ago, really glad they asked me along. This is a clip from our gig in Odense. Had lots of fun getting to grips with some new tonalities and getting to play lots of flute x
