Day 2 | Dinner

For a while, I had been feeling stuck in my business. Like I had hit a ceiling I couldn’t quite break through. I was showing up, doing the work, but something wasn’t shifting. It felt heavy, and honestly a little discouraging.
Looking back, I can see it clearly now. Sometimes things have to feel hard before they can change for the better. Sometimes things have to stretch you before they expand you.
And Kindred came at exactly the right time.
I had followed along for years, always inspired; but convinced it was meant for someone further along. When the invitation came, I realized that I had been asking for growth. For clarity. For something to shift. And this felt like the answer.
What stood out most wasn’t just the beauty or the level of detail, though it was all incredible. It was the intention. There was space to be honest. To talk about failure. To reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going. And in that, I realized something important. No one has it all figured out. Different stories, different paths, but so many shared feelings. By the end, that sense of being stuck had shifted. Not because everything magically changed overnight, but because I did.
I left with clarity, with new perspective, and with the kind of connections that move things forward in a real way. It was exactly what I needed. This experience reminded me that it’s not about status or recognition. It’s about how you show up. How you connect. How willing you are to grow, even when it’s uncomfortable. There’s space for all of us, even in the seasons where we feel unsure. I left feeling grounded, encouraged, and ready for what’s next. Not because everything is perfect now, but because something finally clicked. Sometimes things have to feel hard before they become something incredible.
A huge thank you to the incredible vendor team who made this experience possible. A special thank you to Rebecca and Erin for creating a space that was truly life changing. I will be forever grateful for both of you.
