This album began as a commission from the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music and evolved into something much different than what we expected. We feel that it reflects who we are, what we want to achieve as artists, and our thoughts concerning the present state of the world more than anything we’ve ever done.

The Emptiness of All Things was born from a commission from the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy for Music tasking NJ-based screamo project @massa_nera with writing about the climate catastrophe. The result sees the quartet tackling the inescapability of capitalism, greenwashing, & the psychology of “progress.” Originally released last year via our friends at @persistentvisionrecords (order the vinyl from them!), Fiadh is honored to offer a cassette edition.

Today marks 10 years since we’ve released our first
EP, “Will it be enough for you to keep going?” You can also say it probably makes this our official 10 yr anniversary as a band!
For that, we decided to do something a little special and have a “Double EP LP” released by @larryrecords187 . You can check it out at their Bandcamp and take a trip down memory lane with us. What’s even more exciting is that Larry will have Vinyl pressed of these songs for the first time!
We want to express some gratitude and appreciation for the people we’ve met, the friends we’ve made, and the places we’ve got to see because of Massa Nera. We wouldn’t be the kind of people we are today if not for all of you.

Much delayed, but major thanks to everyone who came to our record release show last month. The show made $339.00, all of which was donated to Cosecha. Thanks to @kirkby_kiss@stress.spells@burialdance and @trophy.hunt for helping make the show incredible, as well as @nopunktimepromo for organizing/running it and @cincodemayo_nb for being ever-gracious hosts.
Likewise, we've sold (and mailed) 28 of our Massa Nera is a Cult shirts, allowing us to send an additional $239.65 to Cosecha. Those shirts covered the cost of printing, so the money from the remaining 22 shirts will go entirely towards Cosecha.
