The last few months I have been taking care of my mom who has dementia. It has been a turbulent journey to say the least. Music has been such a gift for both her and I to just be in the moment, play, sing and be silly. Felt some resistance towards sharing this as it feels like a very private moment and I tend to close off when I am experiencing pain. Yet I also know that opening up even more is the only antidote for that. So here I am with my amazing mom who I love so deeply. 💕
