From EUROs glory to co-founding a creative studio.
Ella Toone and James Marshall’s Amicizia Studios is built for purpose - and it’s here to shake up women’s football.
Head to the link in our bio to find out why they’re doing things differently 🌶️
C’mon, let’s av it. 🌶️
We’re buzzing to announce the new Creative Studios, co-founded by Ella Toone & James Marshall.
No Nonsense, No Messing about, we blend sports culture and creativity to bring brands and talent together, through uniquely tailored strategies. Working with great people across great brands, podcasts and other digital outlets, we’re taking back control of the traditional talent/brand relationship and putting our stamp on it.
We like a laugh and we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but rest assured when it comes to our campaigns, we’re head down and game on. We’re here to give women’s footballers a proper platform, not just the odd collab, but solid relationships built with major brands to create opportunities that turn players into household names. Simple.
And for those who don’t know how to say Amicizia, it’s like this…
ah-mee-chee-zee-ah 🌶️

Ella Toone for The Players Tribune ➡️ Ten Pounds.
In September, Ella’s father Nick sadly passed away shortly before his 60th birthday. Nick’s death didn’t just hit Ella and her family hard it affected a whole community in Tyldesley and across the women’s game. His impact on Ella and her career was incredible and his infectious personality and humour lives on through his daughter.
Athletes don’t usually talk, it’s a taboo in football to hide insecurities, problems, deep secrets and grief. Today Ella’s story breaks that silence.
There was no pressure on Ella to ever speak about her loss but when she asked my advice on which platform she should choose, we both were in agreement that the @playerstribune was the perfect platform to tell her story.
A two hour interview at Ella’s house was full of tears and laughter which went so quickly and could have lasted all day.
We’re all incredibly proud of Ella’s bravery and courage to speak so openly on grief and I would encourage anyone to do the same, you will definitely feel better for it.
Special thanks to The Players Tribune and @sebasalva for their empathy, professionalism and caring nature towards Ella and her family ❤️
