Last night was one for the books… we went to a SNL live taping!! 🎟️ Olivia Rodrigo double duty host & musical guest.
The entire experience was fantastic and it was mind blowing to see how they pull off a minor miracle every single show. The quickest changeovers in the business, cast members running in and out of scenes with precision, and the sketches were hilarious last night. Rodrigo’s new tunes rocked and we sat 20 feet from the music stage. Her new song was an awesome moment to witness, she had the studio in the palm of her hand. Endless gratitude and thanks to @cloudshannon and the iconic Rasta man himself andrewdismukes for making a lifelong dream come true for us. ❤️ A top tier life experience!
The Last Five Years was the show that got me into musical theater in a major way. I’ve spent the last 15+ years singing along to it in cars, in karaoke rooms, and listening to various recordings on random nights at home while cooking dinner. To see @jasonrobertbrownstagram bring this amazing, intimate show to the Hollywood Bowl for 10,000 people was wild to witness. I’m sure so many new fans were made of this show tonight watching these stellar performances. Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler were in complete control of JRB’s masterful score and brought a fresh and modern take on the characters. What a treat to see Jason Robert Brown perform for our 5th time seeing him live, the first being 2 days before the COVID shutdown in 2020 (refer to the last pic 🤣).
Never thought this show would get its due at a venue like this. Quite a special night of theater. #thelastfiveyears #hollywoodbowl
Our team has grown quite a bit over the past year and we’re excited to formally introduce them to you all! First up, meet Marshall! Here’s a bit about him, why he loves horror, and his three faves!
Marshall is a born-and-raised LA filmmaker who has produced two feature films & over a dozen short film productions, all of which have played at film festivals around the country over the past decade. During the day, Marshall spends his time as a Production Coordinator on Academy Award-winning fare, including One Battle After Another, Oppenheimer, and Christopher Nolan’s upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey. Marshall is an avid Letterboxd user, dog dad, and AMC A-Lister.
Stay tuned for more intros this week!
I’ve wanted to make movies my entire life. I’d spend countless hours as a kid making backyard movies, running all over town trying to figure out ways to create anything interesting for a camera, and dreamed of one day maybe getting to do the damn thing for real. Never in my wildest of daydreams did I ever think I would get the opportunity to work on a film that would get nominated for any type of award, let alone at The Oscars. The fact that I can proudly and unfathomably now say that I have had the good fortune to work on not one, but TWO BEST PICTURE WINNING FILMS, is something that is hard to emotionally process. The film industry provides a lifestyle that offers the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. One Battle After Another was an incredibly challenging, yet ultimately rewarding, project to dedicate 11 months of our lives to. The talent level, the dedication, and the immense energy of the team I got to work with day in and day out was inspiring to witness. It was also the fuel that kept us going on late nights, work week shifts, 6th and 7th days, and all of the sacrifices it takes to make something beautiful on this scale. From recording home movies on a Panasonic camcorder to seeing my teammates, bosses, and collaborators accept the highest accolades our industry has to offer is something truly special for me. An unforgettable career goalpost that I am really fucking proud of and grateful for. Thanks to the best production team in the biz- @acecatania@bquin23@zachariahofcheck@madelinecook97 and all our other department friends. Hey yall! Let’s go for a third one!? 🏆🏆🎬🎉

One Battle After Another unleashes today around the world! From October 2023-September 2024 I got to work with some of my favorite coworkers making an insane, big-budget studio flick. At the time of production the film content seemed like pure fantasy, so it’s crazy to see that this piece has become more relevant than ever. This one was quite a roller coaster to make and I can’t wait for everyone to see what Paul and the team cooked up. From Eureka to Palm Desert to El Paso, this journey was truly unique and I still have whiplash from it all! Very grateful to work on these types of projects with the best crew in town. ❤️ Go check out OBAA this weekend on the biggest screen you can find, they don’t make ‘em like this anymore! #obaa
