We spoke with Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready about his upcoming debut graphic novel, Farewell to Seasons, and companion album.

Since the early 80s, Mike McCready has been the soul and driving force of the Seattle music scene. 🎸
From The Shadow to Temple of the Dog, Mad Season, and of course Pearl Jam, there’s always been that unmistakable through-line: Mike, Stratocaster in hand, pouring heart and fire into everything he touches.
Now Mike has channeled that history, that energy, and his own Seattle experience into something really special: FAREWELL TO SEASONS, the new Z2 graphic album.
This project is Mike’s alternative history of Seattle—told through an original graphic novel paired with a companion album that’s only available together on vinyl. It’s been an absolute honor working on this with Mike McCready, Mark Sable, and Sebastián Piriz and helping bring this vision to life.
