I spend most of my time writing nowadays and I love it.
For as fulfilling as all that writing is, there’s still something so magical about drawing.
Every single line feels like home.
EXCALIBUR (1981)
I’m kicking off my epic BLURAY/4K movie collection watch through with this wild, epic, sword and sorcery classic, that was just released on 4K special edition from the fine folks at @arrowvideo .
I was obsessed with EXCALIBUR as a kid, from the chrome armor, to the brutal fights. Mordred and the whole grail storyline scared the hell out of me.
And yes…Helen Mirren as Morgan Le Fay was just hauntingly mesmerizing.
I love seeing films like EXCALIBUR restored. It looks absolutely fantastic.

Today I finished writing on a project that I’ve been working on for…well over a year now.
It lived in my brain for years before I even sat down to make it a reality.
And while it’s something that is fully written and well over half way drawn, it’s not something you’re going to see until the fall.
I’m genuinely grateful that we’re able to play a long game like this and tell stories that we genuinely love at @ignitionpress .
It’s something truly special.
