In two months, is the biggest event I have ever been a part of.
When @youarethemedia Creator Day started in 2022, I made a mistake of leading on the unfamiliar, that meant people couldnāt make an association with what it was, so they stayed away.
In 2026, Iām so glad that people are travelling from around the country to come to Poole. For many people, Poole is a long way away. I donāt take any of that lightly.
Iād love you come to Creator Day and if it feels the type of space you would like to be a part of, I promise to make it the best thing about May.
When an afternoon away from the desk and client work is totally worth itā¦you come to our @youarethemedia LONDON Lunch Club š„³āØ

Last Thursday, I delivered the biggest event I had ever done, in the theatre.
An event for 200+ people. When it all started in 2013 it was just me and it was lonely.
I spent years trying to convince the businesses near where I live to join in.
It took me years to realise that the world is a much bigger place and finding the others meant they were dotted all over the country, not necessarily on the doorstep.
Where I live today is effectively a playground to test out ideas and welcome everyone else to join in when weāre ready to have a party and we still call it work. The friends who lead this, now welcome everyone else with open arms and we all take from the well.
Next up is the Summer Party in a bar with 90 minutes of unlimited drinking. Why not join in with us?
Still a bit jaded as people are already booking for 2025 @youarethemedia Creator Day.
If the work is worth it, the tweaks and long game say āthank youā, you just donāt know when.
Thanks @studioshotz you take the best pics
Back in 2013 I started an idea I thought about, in 2016 I made something others could think about, in 2024 we made something others can join in with.
In April weāve got 200+ people travelling down to Poole for @youarethemedia Creator Day.
It feels good when we donāt have to travel to bigger cities around the UK and bring others to the seaside and look after them.
If you are in, thanks so much ā
It means so much for the support.
10 years ago I started a little side project called @youarethemedia when I was in a really tough place. Today, itās the thing that gives me so much joy and made so many friends.
We have an annual event on April 25th at @lighthousepoole where we bring people from around the country to the seaside.
Itās for small businesses who are responsible for the content they create and value the relationships they build.
I pour my heart into this and if some people enjoy the wavy arms and shouty bits from me, thatās a bonus.
Iād love you to come to Creator Day.
You can read more about it and book hereā¦

I am never going to close the YATM events I do with a āsee you soon,ā everyone has to dance from now on, and we all say ābye byeā togetherā¦.and World Record challenges at the beginning are the new ice bucket challenge š
Two grown men are going head to head to break a world record on 13th July at a business event #InPoole
Itās sold out, work events donāt have to be about strangers telling you what to do ā
Had the greatest work week Iāve ever had. When Iāve delivered events, something normally goes awry which is all part of the charm, but has always frustrated me. Last weeks Creator Day was the best event ever delivered.
This week have been in the US for Creator Economy Expo for @thetiltnews and get people to create and work together. It worked a treat.
Iām exhausted, shattered but happy. Whatās ticks along can sometimes become the biggest dent you ever make. Looking forward to heading home ā
