According to local historians, It was planted by my Great ancestor, Komfo Nana Asumbia of Akwamufie in the 13th Century 👑
The tree is called 'Santseo' - Derived from the term 'Santseo ase' - loosely translated in the Fanti language as "Under the tree" - because people settled underneath its shade.
