Up All Night was the most incredible and ridiculous experience with @jamesbaymusic@gabesimonsays and crew that I’ll never forget. The video of me playing Easy Distraction ends a fraction of a second before the riff to UAN was written. A little fired up from being asked to play a glissando and a little fired up from successfully managing to pull one off.
This record has been out in the world for 4 months. A lot went into getting it over the line and completing it feels like a tribute to everything that happened along the way. “Life is what happens when you’re busy making records” became our adopted (and tweaked) catchphrase.
Thanks to @andytaylorofficial for everything. It was an education in record making. My second degree. Long live the disco finca.

The record nearly didn’t exist and the version I worked on was the 4th time around that some parts had been recorded. @hazel.wilde re-recorded all her lead vocals in 3 days. There wasn’t a record, then all of a sudden, there it was.
Massive congrats to the band, @gregopau who somehow kept sight of the target and @philipselway for the incredible drums and percussion.

It was an honour to record, mix and perform (!) with @lanternsonthelake@philipselway and @matt.hardy.drums at an old church in Northumberland.
We recreated songs from the upcoming record Versions Of Us over a weekend at @theoldchurchstudio as a 7 piece live band. The first song from these sessions is The Likes Of Us.
