It was a miracle to stand up there last night, receiving this award. The last 12 months have been the most challenging of my life…losing both of my parents within three months was something I could never have prepared for. In those darkest hours, I couldn’t have imagined this moment. It’s reminded me how fragile and precious life is and how much pressure so many of us carry in this industry. The pace, the expectations, the constant drive…it’s a lot and it can take its toll. From the bottom of my heart, we’ve got to look after each other. I genuinely wouldn’t be anything without my team and the incredible artists I work with. Also without the family and friends who’ve supported me and us. I’m forever grateful for Sarah back in Newcastle & Lauren…their passion, hard work and commitment has been next level. It’s been the wildest year. Thank you for everything you do. @sam_fender is a seriously special human being, a once in a generation artist. He created such a beautiful record with Joe and Dean, it’s been a privilege to be part of the journey. What a ride since stumbling into the Low Lights Tavern over a decade ago. All the love to the band and crew. You’re only as good as the people you surround yourself with and I’m lucky to have the very best around me. Big love to @benhoward_ and his incredible band, you’re a constant source of inspiration and magic. Massive thanks to Joe Clark you legend.
