Filmisime laulule video märtsikuus Võrumaal, Vaskna järvel, kui kõikjal laius poolemeetrine lumevaip ja klaveri kohaleviimiseks pidime ta kohale suusatama. Loodus ise tuli videosse mängima ja lumi kaasa tantsima.

We filmed the video for the song in March in my home region Võrumaa on lake Vaskna when there was half a meter of snow and we had to literally ski the piano to get it there. The nature itself came to play and dance along in the video.

🤔What lately interests me in music the most, is exploring the ancient wisdom of runosongs and stories that sometimes date back thousands of years, and yet have ability to speak to me here and now, in the era of steel and skyscrapers 🏙️
I’ve discovered that these old songs often speak about universal themes - 🤍love or failure of love, 🌳about the world tree that one day grows so large that it hides the sun and the world becomes a very dark place; or the attempt to craft an ideal soulless golden woman 👩🦳- these stories have deeply touched me and I’ve written them onwards in my music - we all deal with similar themes in a way or another every day. The songs that started 2000 years ago can yet speak about the climate warming or over-consuption.
Will the songs we sing today be also remembered after hundred or thousand years? Will our cultures and languages remain in the windy and restless era we live in?

Last week played live at the Estonian Music Awards gala. The song about my mother tongue’s earned some warm clapping at the huge Unibet Arena. It was real fun! Big bows to all the crew of the event 🙏🏻

🌠Ilusat alanud aastat!
Rahulik aastalõpp andis mulle võimaluse võtta aega, et 2025 kokku võtta. Siin ülevaade ilmatuuridest, ja endalgi oli mõni asi meelest läinud. Selgus, et sai päris usinalt Euroopas ringi tuuritatud ning lisaks kvaliteetsetele ning headele lavadele ja festivalidele osaletud esinejana ka mitmel väga erilisel sündmusel, näiteks ööbikutega @singingwithnightingales öös duetti lauldud ja Liivi festivalil koos Liivi noortega lauldud.
✨2026 on algus uus ja annab mulle veel aega võtta vaiksemalt, tegeleda sisekaemusega ning uue laululoomega. Ja muidugi, nautida krõbedaid külmakraade, tullevahtimist ja head suusailma.
