Marcus is an artist/designer based near Stroud. Alongside his creative practice, he also DJs, using music in a similar way to collage work - blending different sounds, moods and influences together.
These sessions will focus on ambient and electronic music that sits somewhere between listening session and creative soundtrack. Music calm enough to read to, but interesting enough to inspire.
Expect a mix of ambient electronics and leftfield sounds from both old and new producers.

A magic project!
Voodoo Chicken is a bold, high-energy street food brand grilled chicken and hand cut fries to food markets, festivals, and venues in London and the UK.
We’ve been working with Voodoo Chicken since the very beginning of their journey, helping shape the brand from the ground up. Our collaboration has spanned every touchpoint - from naming and brand identity through to packaging, uniforms, merchandise, stall design, social media campaigns, and investor decks.
The creative direction blends hot, handcrafted visuals with playful energy - reflecting both the spice and the spirit of the brand. We developed a striking visual identity built around bold typography, expressive illustration, and a vivid, street-smart colour palette, applied consistently across digital and physical brand assets.

Work for the Office for National Statistics to create an awareness campaign for the latest National Census a few years ago.
I developed a paper-cut illustration style to represent key aspects of modern life - housing, work, technology, and community. These handcrafted icons were integrated into hand-cut typography, giving the campaign a warm, tactile quality that stood out across various media.
