It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our founder, Dick Marconi, at the age of 89, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and generosity. We grieve the loss of not only an incredible man but a son, a brother, a father, a husband, a grandfather and great grandfather. His family remembers him for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. Dick Marconi’s life exemplified the power of giving and the profound impact one person can have on others. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. ➡️ A message from his beloved son, John: “My dad taught me about philanthropy as far back as I can remember. As children, he always made a point to lead by example and give to others less fortunate. He passed down his own father’s mantra to, Learn, Earn and Return. You never stop learning, you work hard to earn everything you can and return it for the greater good. Throughout my life I have learned those lessons and taught them to the next generation. His grandchildren, Jessica, Nico, Vince, Monique and Colt are his legacy and through them and their children, his memory and generosity will live in perpetuity. I know that my father and my sister Kim are now together again.” I love you dad, you were larger than life, until we meet again. - Johnny

After months of planning and coordination with the incredibly talented @jordanhexem , at some truly breathtaking locations he carefully selected in Big Sur, we were able to bring these historic cars back together for the first time in nearly 30 years. What made this experience even more special was having the original creator, @paolo.garella , there with us. During his time leading Pininfarina’s Special Projects division, Paolo helped bring these one-of-a-kind vehicles to life, and hearing him walk us through every design detail and story behind them was something we’ll never forget. A huge thank you to the owner of the Ferrari 456 Venice Estate and @citoscamera for helping make this iconic photoshoot a reality. And of course, Jordon choosing to capture it all on film made it that much more special. Also a special thank you to @das_dumped for the incredible support along the way and to coastridersinn and @raggedpointinn for the hospitality! We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this happen. Stay tuned, there’s so much more to come! #FerrariFriday #RareCars #ClassicFerrari

On display here at the Marconi Automotive Museum, this is the #1 screen-used K.I.T.T. car from Knight Rider! 🤩🎬🙌 Featured across all 4 seasons, it’s best known as the “Hero Car” in Seasons 1 and 2 before being reengineered into the Right-Hand Blind Drive car to create the illusion of driving itself on screen. This ingenious setup allowed David Hasselhoff to seamlessly perform while a stunt driver operated the vehicle from the opposite side. Experience this iconic piece of automotive history up close. Your visit helps support the Marconi Foundation for Kids, join us and be part of something meaningful while enjoying one of television’s most iconic cars! Come by and check it out today! 🕘 Tues-Sat, 9AM - 4PM ☎️ (714) 258-3001 *Check our website for closure dates, link in bio* #AutomotiveMuseum #OrangeCounty #FamousCars #KnightRider
