Every once in a while, as a photographer, you create something that still gives you the same feeling years later. The same excitement, pride, and joy.
This series, which I shot in New Delhi, India a few years ago, is exactly that for me. I never get tired of looking at these images, and honestly, I don’t think I ever will.
This series is my evergreen.

One of my favorite projects of this year has just been released.
A couple of weeks ago an idol of my youth @patricebartwilliams called me and asked me if I wanted to shoot the cover of his new upcoming album „9“.
We concepted, organized and shot the whole thing within a week. If somebody had told the 19 year old me back then while listening to “Sunshine” or “Soulstorm” that I would work together with Patrice in a couple of years, I would not have believed him.
Huge shoutout to @patricebartwilliams for the creative trust, the honor and @eno.de.wit for helping me out! This was so much fun and I truly love and am proud of what we created together!

Belated Happy Mother's / Father’s Day.
This shoot came together more by chance than by plan — a mother, her child, and her Porsche (a symbol for financial success). But somehow, it became deeply meaningful to me. It reminded me of my own mother.
Throughout her life, she gave literally everything to balance a career while raising me and my sister. She made sure we never lacked anything, and despite a 60-hour-week tried her to best to be there for us. That was anything but easy and I can’t even imagine what she had to sacrifice.
So even if it wasn’t the original intention, this series turned into a little tribute — to her, and to all the mothers out there who face this daily struggle. Who keep showing up, day after day, with full conviction and unwavering love and strength. We see you.
P.S.
Thank you, Mom.
I admire you.
Another project I got to shoot in CapeTown earlier this year.
Definitely one that made me fall in love with colors once again. Editing is such a huge part of my creative process. Taking my time to literally „paint the picture“ while trying to seek the greatest beauty of colors.
Which is unfortunately one of the reasons why I am not the fastest when it comes to the post-production process. Something that I often blame myself for: not being effective or fast enough. Especially in an industry in which speed has become more and more an essential factor
But art takes time. And that is okay.
At least that’s what I’m going to keep telling myself haha

Hi everyone!
Meet Kent & Alba, the coolest father-daughter duo I’ve ever met.
Kent, a local skateboarding legend and owner of @alphalongboardscapetown , invited me to spend an afternoon with him and Alba, his daughter, and already a skateboarding prodigy.
Those few hours turned out to be incredibly inspiring. Getting to witness a father share his passion with his daughter through so much trust, empathy, joy, and guidance was a real gift. The way they connected through skateboarding made me hope that one day I might be able to share my own passion of photography with one of my future kids.
This was one of those projects where I took home far more than a full memory card. I left inspired and blessed.
Shoutout to @gutsyrunner at @kulture_southafrica for making this happen.
