Based in New Delhi, Devanshi Jain’s 'chapter iv' is part of an ongoing, non-linear series conceived as a wearable autobiography. Sculpted from an in-house developed bio-resin, the pieces appear fluid and in motion, yet settle into rigid, sculptural forms—holding gestures in a suspended state. Wearability functions as activation rather than utility, positioning the body as a temporary host for sculpture. Finished with casein-based pigments, the surfaces blur the line between organic and inert, embracing contradiction as a stable condition rather than a resolution.
