thousands of tiny dots that mean nothing alone, but step back and the whole picture appears.
pointillism, if youāre wondering what this painting technique is called.
but, itās also one that mirrors life. individual moments that feel disconnected when in reality, theyāre a part of something bigger. you just have to step back far enough to see the whole picture.
and though that all crossed my mind while admiring the art, i was more so excited to support the artist! @marcmaking is a flint native, someone iāve known for years, and genuinely a dope person! flint is home to so many gems, and he is absolutely one of them.
every time i step out, itās a little different and this time outside in my forties looks like wine at @corkflint , art at @buckhamgallery , and finding yourself in a metaphor in midst the of a fabulous friday night.
not slowing down. just choosing better.

Sooo I would say this is a full circle moment but the journey is most certainly not over so letās just say āhalf circleā moment; and I say that to say I created the āRoses for the Bluesā collection to give honor, love, respect and flowers to the individuals within in it. Some of them Iāve know for years, some of them Iāve never even metā¦yet they still āinspiredā me to keep going, because in them I could see the bright side of this cold world; I could see what was possible for me.
Not only thatā¦as an artist, we, and I was going to say like athletes, but I believe individuals in general who have a passion for what it is they do, want the ārespectā and acknowledgment of those who have done āitā so to speak. āItā can mean a lot of different things for different people, everyoneās perspective is differentā¦but I believe most people in most professions want the respect of whoever is at the top of their profession and strive to achieve the same level of excellence.
Again; I say all that to say that, on April 10th 2026, I am honored to be sharing space with some of the most talented individuals I knowā¦like Judy Bowman, Sheefy McFly, Kev Scraps, Zach Curtis, PAUL EVERETTā¦I painted them to let them know how much they inspire me, not knowing or expecting to be in the same space at the same time, and I could go on but I digressā¦point beingā¦4/10/26 is special for a lot of reasons.
To those of you who have supported me throughout this journey, but may not be represented in this collection of work, certainly doesnāt mean I think any less of the contributions youāve made to my life. You definitely deserve your flowers as well. Just know that my list was fluid and ended up being larger than I expected, so I had to make some tough choices.
This collection is a living tribute to inspiration, and a reminder that from pain, beauty can emerge. It invites viewers to reflect on their own sources of strength, creativity, and gratitude. It also seeks to elevate individuals who make the world more beautiful simply by being in it. Ultimately, this exhibition is for anyone who has ever needed a reason to keep goingāand found one in the people around them.
Thank you All.
Youāre invited. Yes YOU š«µš¾.

RICHARD. @richardwilsonartwork
I insist. Iāve been wanting to post this for quite some time but Iāve been a bit hesitantā¦for a few reasons, although my rationale may be working against me at this point but idkā¦that being saidā¦.one reason being, (per Erykah Badu) āIām an artist, and Iām sensitive about my $#?+ ā lol.
The main reason I was a bit skeptical was the fact that this person is one of the GREATEST artist I know (DOA period!) And he paints some of the most amazing portraits Iāve ever seen.
(Murals (see other slides) and compositions youāll ever see, hell anything you can think of š ).
So when I decided to celebrate Richard in the best way I knew how, a bit of doubt crept in. What gave me assurance was the fact that Iāve been blessed to have conversations and learn a some things from a true master of his craft, and that I know he personally enjoys my work. So for all the portraits he has painted, I thought it only right that some give him his flowers as well. So hereās to you Richard Wilson. Thank you for sharing your gift with US. šš¾
(I almost painted the last slide cause I thought he might get a kick out of it, but I said naahš )
